SEMO Bible Institute |

The primary mission of the SEMO Bible Institute is training lay leaders for ministry in the local church. These lay leaders will then be better prepared to coach, mentor, and disciple others.
Classes with the SEMO Bible Institute are taught by local church leaders in partnership with the Evangelical Training Association. Upon completion of 40 instructional hours, SEMO Bible Institute students can receive one of four different Church Ministries certificates. These are Foundational Church Ministries, Standard Church Ministries, Advanced Church Ministries, and Leadership in Church Ministries. |

Course Information
You & Your Bible - Monday - 6pm-7:30pm
Teacher: Shawn Stricklin
Believers should be well informed about the Word of God. God created mankind in his own image and likeness for the purpose of contact and communion with Him. This course presents the inspiration and authorship of the Bible; how it was preserved, why we believe it, how to deal with its problems and critics, the role of archaeology and ways to study it more effectively.
Growing Towards Spiritual Maturity - Wednesday - 6pm-7:30pm
Teacher: Wes Tayloe
A strategy for growing toward Christlikeness must be based on the actual ways that people grow and develop into maturity. Through identifying and understanding how we grow spiritually, we become more intentional in our use of time and methods. This course emphasizes our relationship to God's Word for guidance, and helps students identify and learn to use their individual spiritual gifts.
How to Register

(3) Look for an email from SEMO Bible Institute confirming your registration in 1-2 business days.

Here at SEMO Bible Institute each and everyone of our faculty members has a passion to commit to faithful men and women of God the things which we have learned from God’s Word so that they in turn may be “able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2). Our purpose is to provide our students with the biblical tools, knowledge, and desire necessary to “study to show (themselves) approved unto God” while developing the ability to “rightly divide the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). Our prayer is that our students successfully complete the Bible institute course of study and be better equipped “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).
